Our manufacturer, Het Fietscafe®, is the industry pioneer. Started when brothers Zwier and Henk Van Laar sketched their idea for a “rolling pub” on the back of a bar napkin in 1997, the company continues to make the world’s most durable and feature-rich party bikes at their state-of-the-art Dutch factory. In fact, Het Fietscafe is the only company in the world with a dedicated, federally-subsidized party bike manufacturing facility.

PEDAL PUB HISTORY
We brought the first party bike from Amsterdam to the U.S. in 2007. Fast forward a decade later and we’re giving millions of rides a year, creating a fun, safe and eco-friendly experience for millions of guests annually.
1996
The world's first party bike is developed and built by brothers Zwier and Henk Van Laar in the Netherlands.
2006
Inspired by a story about a 'rolling pub' in The Netherlands, two Minnesotan entrepreneurs decide to bring the very first party bike to the United States.
2007
Pedal Pub officially begins its operations in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
2014
The party bike craze expands to 25 licensed locations throughout the United States.

Mr. Treml has served as President of PP Development, LLC since July 9, 2021, and prior to that served as PP Development, LLC’s Executive Vice President of Franchising since January 2021. Mr. Treml also serves as Executive Vice President for our affiliate, Go Xperia. Mr. Treml is the CEO of PSMN Holdings, LLC, a PROSE® Area Developer, a role he has held since August 2018. Prior to that, Mr. Treml served as Executive Vice President of United Franchise Group in West Palm Beach, Florida from January 2016 to August 2018. Mr. Treml was also the Franchise Development Director for Lift Brands/Snap Fitness Corporation in Chanhassen, Minnesota from November 2014 to January 2016. From July 1987 to September 2014, Mr. Treml held Director roles with Winmark Franchise Corporation in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Mr. Treml serves in his current capacities in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Michael Wickam
President: PC Holdings
Mr. Wickam has served as President of PC Holdings, since February 2022. Prior to his present position, Mr. Wickam served as Chief Operating Officer of Gratus Funds, LLC in Fridley, Minnesota from August 2018 to February 2022. Prior to that Mr. Wickam was Chief Executive Officer of VL Two LLC, a holding company for service businesses based in Fridley, Minnesota as well as President and Founder of SalesVenom Corp. a small business consulting company in Plymouth, Minnesota, from 2011 to 2018.
Prior to that Mr. Wickam held senior leadership positions in the telecommunications industry with companies such as GTE, Verizon, AT&T, and Cox Communications in Illinois, California, and Minnesota.
Mr. Wickam has served as an Associate Professor (adjunct) for Bethel University’s business and strategic leadership departments in St. Paul, Minnesota as well as on several Boards of local and regional companies. Mr. Wickam serves in his current capacities in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Mr. Halbert serves as Vice President of Operations for us and our affiliate, Go Xperia Corporation, positions he has held since March 2022. Prior to his current positions, Mr. Halbert worked from the Minneapolis, Minnesota area as the National Trainer and General Manager at Handyman Connection, from May 2021 to March 2022. Prior to that, he was Project Consultant at Elias Construction in Rochester, Minnesota, from November 2020 to May 2021; worked from the Minneapolis, Minnesota area as Project Manager at Sevan Multi-Site Solutions from February 2018 to November 2020; and was Senior Operations Manager at NTY Franchise Co. in Minnetonka, Minnesota from January 2015 to January 2018. Mr. Halbert serves in his current capacities in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Mr. Wagner serves as Marketing Director for PC Holdings and Head of Marketing for our affiliate, Go Xperia Corporation, positions he has held since February 2022. Prior to his current positions, Mr. Wagner was the Senior Manager of Experiential Marketing at BI Worldwide in Minneapolis, Minnesota from February 2020 to February 2022. Prior to that, he was Event Marketing Manager and Account Development Director at College Marketing Group in Minneapolis, Minnesota from April 2017 to February 2020. Mr. Wagner is also the Owner/Operator of Redline Events and Production in Minneapolis, Minnesota and Los Angeles, California, positions he has held since August 2013. Mr. Wagner serves in his current capacities in St. Paul, Minnesota.

HOW DO I BECOME A PEDAL PUB FRANCHISEE?
The first step is to fill out the Request for Information form on our website. Within 24 hours of completing the form, a member of our Franchise Development Team will reach out to you to set up a call. Following the introductory call, you will receive both our Sales Brochures, which provide a high level overview of the business. At this time, any questions you may have will be answered by a member of our Franchise Development Team. Upon making the decision to proceed, you will receive Pedal Pub’s Application and Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) that details every aspect of our franchise offering.
WHAT IS THE COST OF OWNING A PEDAL PUB FRANCHISE?
Total first-year start-up costs for this business are estimated between $117,450 – $270,400. This figure is low relative to most other new ventures. This estimate includes the purchase of two bikes as well as anticipated insurance, storage, and marketing costs. Each franchisee is encouraged to start with two bikes, in order to support corporate outings and group events.
WHAT MAKES PEDAL PUB BIKES SUPERIOR?
Pedal Pub party bikes are manufactured by Het Fietscafe of the Netherlands. Fietscafe is the world’s FIRST party bike manufacturer, producing its first bike in 1996! Since its founding, Fietscafe has tested and perfected its machine to be the most classic, durable, and withstanding party bike currently in production.
CAN I OPERATE IF MY CITY DOES NOT ALLOW ALCOHOL ON BOARD?
Yes, a portion of our network does not allow patrons to bring alcohol on board, due to city or state regulations. These franchisees, however, do quite well without alcohol and emphasize the social value of the experience. Details are included in our Business Brochure.
HOW SOON CAN I GET MY BIKE(S)?
We maintain an inventory of bikes in our U.S. warehouse. As a Pedal Pub Franchisee, you will receive your bike(s) prior to opening day, ensuring a quick start to your operation
DO YOU OFFER A FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE REPRESENTATION?
The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) requires that Pedal Pub detail all business information in a specific format as a part of its Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD). Included in this document is Item 19 which details seasonal sales averages and average number of seasonal tours associated with owning a Pedal Pub Franchise
